Beast House Malcasa Point

The Beast House

The Beast House was built in 1902. It is visited by thousands of tourists from around the world every year.

The Beast House is built in a Victorian style with assorted bay windows, gables, and balconies. It is surrounded by a wrought iron fence to keep out the curious and "protect" the innocent at night. Of course, there is no particular danger in passing by the Beast House, even at night, but even though Malcasa Point is a peaceful, law-abiding town, the house has had problems with vandals in the past.

The Beast House, located at 10 Front Street, is, of course, the location of the famous Beast House tour. It is now owned by celebrated Beast House survivor Janice Crogan, who also owns the Beast House Museum.

The Kutch house is located directly across from the Beast House and is striking for its lack of windows. This is a private residence and visitors are neither encouraged nor permitted. Although it is connected to the Beast House by a subterranean tunnel, it is not part of the Beast House tour.
